     Home Care:  Where Healing Begins…

Home care is often the best option for you or a loved one. Research has shown that being at home improves the quality of life during illness, disability and recuperation. While maintaining your dignity and independence, a case management approach assures that all needed services will be coordinated and tailored to your specific needs. And, all of this is less expensive than a hospital or nursing home stay.

Perhaps the greatest advantage of home care is that the nurse or therapist can assess an individual’s needs within the context of his or her home, which provides a more complete picture of potential barriers to recovery. Further, meeting friends and family members also provides the clinician with the opportunity to teach and reinforce techniques that will advance the healing process. Loved ones have an active and vital role to play.
