Speech Therapist

Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our homecare team. This clinician will provide assessment and treatment services to patients in their homes, helping them regain or improve communication and swallowing abilities essential to their independence and quality of life. This position will be per-diem/part-time to start, with the potential to move into full-time as our caseload grows.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to determine individualized needs.

• Develop and implement therapy plans to improve speech, communication, and swallowing.

• Provide in-home treatment sessions and collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members.

• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation.

• Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications:

• Current Connecticut SLP license.

• Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.

• Home health experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
