• Medicare will pay for 100% of home care services for those 65 years of age and older who meet the criteria, when the following guidelines are met:
| · | Home health services are medically necessary and ordered by a physician; | |
| · | The patient is homebound, meaning that they can only leave home with considerable effort for infrequent and short periods; | |
| · | At least one skilled service is required (nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy); | |

• Medicaid is a federal and state program for those with limited income who have no other means of receiving needed home health services. Contact the Connecticut Department of Social Services for further information regarding eligibility. [BACK TO TOP]
• Private Insurance - VNLV accepts most major insurance companies, please contact VNLV directly to verify coverage. [BACK TO TOP]
